Had a screening call for a different role (Solutions Manager), and then later they wanted to interview me for this one. Initial screening call was nice and positive. They were accommodating to change the date as they asked it on short notice. The interview itself was 45 mins of chat. It felt quite informal, it was overall a pleasant conversation, nothing particularly challenging in terms of questions. It was 2 people interviewing me remotely. The problem was that 2 weeks later, I was sent a generic email rejecting me from the role, and the recruiter did not respond to me query about the other role I originally applied for. I went from a fast track interview to complete ghosting with no reason why or engagement. I appreciate if I am not a fit they thought I was - this is regardless quite a poor show of candidate experience and I would expect better from a Company like this to show their candidates respect for their time.
