I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Closet World (Hayward, CA) in Feb 2025
Interview
A very simple 15 minute Zoom interview followed by very long in-person interview. I arrived 10 minutes early for a 1 pm interview, along with about 6 others. The interviews started late, and they took us in the order we arrived. People kept complaining that they needed to go, so I kept getting cut in line. I wasn't interviewed until 3 pm, at which point I had to rush because I needed to leave for another obligation.

Interview
Had long initial phone call that seemed to be really selling the job.
We shouldn't be forced to write reviews to read other reviews. it is ridiculous. Now I have to find things to write here to make the 30 words.

Question 1
Focus is on availability, understanding nature of job which entails driving around to specified number of clients a month and getting paid from commission. Sales focused. Design is really just an added advantage when on site.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Closet World (Whittier, CA)
Interview
Group presentation to approximately 20 or more applicants in a classroom setting. They explained how great the company was and the expectation of the sales process. Basically the various managers gave us all a sales pitch. Then interviewed us one on one after that. The room was dominated with mostly women and very few men. As a man, I thought that was a bit odd considering this was a home improvement job. I did take about 6 months before they called me from the time I submitted my resume.

Question 1
No specific questions just conversation. The manager talked more about the company. I asked a few questions.
