I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Cloudera (Austin, TX) in July 2016
Interview
Stacey Pentland is awesome. I really recommend finding her on LinkedIn if you're interested in Cloudera and working with her, because she's an awesome recruiter. I had a 15 minute video conference with Beth, a Sales Manager and was moved to the next stage, which requires meeting in person at the Austin Cloudera office with Beth and 2 other sales managers.
After a couple days, I met with all 3 Sales Managers and even though we had only 30 minutes allocated for the interview, I felt very sure within the first 10 minutes that this is an amazing company. Afterwards I got a job offer but it took a few days to be finalized because it needed the signature of the VP of Sales in Palo Alto, and he was on vacation.
Cloudera and another tech company had extended job offers, but after talking to Stacey Pentland for almost an hour (or more) and my experience with the 3 Sales Managers, I signed the offer and declined the other company. Stacey was very knowledgeable in Cloudera in just 2 months of working there, and answered every concern and doubt of mine. Overall, an awesome experience!
I applied through other source. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Cloudera (Budapest) in Nov 2017
Interview
The company was very welcoming, the HR colleague showed me the way to a meeting room and offered beverages. After a few minutes, the manager of the team where I applied for a position came and we had an hour long interview, where we talked through my career and about the company as well. The conversation was opened and it was very responsive to my questions also.
