The interview process was very unprofessional. First, there was a recruiter, then he connected me to another recruiter, then there was a one-on-one.
The one on one was purely skills oriented for a Sales Engineer position. The interviewer specifically told me that they "are not looking for training people." They are "looking for hiring people who can hit the ground running." Also, they would love to just hire customers.
Also, they want people who are sales engineers already, who have done systems administration, in windows and unix, who were software developers in both java and .net, and people who know big data, and noSQL databases. basically every technology possible, while having excellent sales skills.
they are super super picky, which led me to believe they are not really looking for people. An observation noted by many others in the industry anyway.
They first got in touch with me in August, and never got back to me. then a month ago, another recruiter contacted me about the same position....
Anyway, I wont be wasting my time with super picky people who waste others' time...
