Overall the interview process was very enjoyable. I had the opportunity to speak with every member of the team and get a grasp on the current security compliance landscape, challenges, and roadmap for future endeavors. The process consisted of 2 phone screens, an on-site with multiple rounds of group interviews/office tour/lunch, and a final interview with the COO. The team was very friendly and gave me the opportunity to interview them just as much as they interviewed me.

After I applied, the hiring manager contacted me directly and I had my first round with her, which was all in all nothing but great, a real excellent conversation! She agreed we would move forward and then no one contacted me anymore and my emails were not answered. I am rating this as negative because the HR or the hiring manager failed to follow up appropriately in my opinion, see exact timing below: Timeline of events Apr.27 - "Thank you for applying to Cloudflare!" (system email) May.10 - "Interview with Cloudflare - Availability Request" (from the hiring manager) May.17 - Interview happened and we agreed to move forward and I would be contacted to schedule the 2nd round with another Compliance Manager based in Lisbon. Jun.03 - I followed up with the HR person (hiring manager in cc and someone else also) - "I've had an excellent conversation with XXX and I was told I am supposed to meet another interviewer - is this still scheduled to happen?" <-- NO RESPONSE received. Jul.21 - As I had already forgotten about this job application, I receive the last automated message "We have filled the role and unfortunately, we will not be moving forward with your candidacy."
