I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Clustrix (San Jose, CA) in Jan 2016
Interview
Interview process was smooth. It started with one Phone Interview and onsite interview. The phone interview was with QA manager. He asked some basic questions related to How SQL works, knowledge on Linux OS etc. After that I got call for Onsite interview. All interviewers were good and calm. They also focused on SQL , Linux and automation related questions. They all were also helpful if you get any answer wrong. Overall, it was good experience while interviewing at Clustrix.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Clustrix (San Francisco, CA) in June 2015
Interview
interviewed with current Director, CEO, Director of Customer Support and Sales Director. They initially told me that they chose another candidate over me because of salary requirement and I appreciated their transparency. Two weeks later, I was told by the recruiter that the other candidate had chosen not to pursuit this position that they wanted to hire me. 2 more weeks of radio silence and then they finally told me that they are going with yet another candidate. I would have not taken that job even if was offered to me since I thought it was an absolute unprofessional process. Tells you quite a bit about the people and company. Thanks but no thanks!

Interview
Recruiter contacted me after I applied online and quickly scheduled a phone interview and said I will be asked simple programming questions. On the phone, interviewer called and general resume talks. I was asked following question:
1. Find greatest element in a binary search tree
2. Find second greatest element in a BST without sorting and without in-order traversal
Stumbled on the second question. They are looking for extremely talented candidates with fast pace pickups on trees and C.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Traverse left sub-tree of the highest element to find the second largest element.
