I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at CoConstruct (Charlottesville, VA) in May 2019
Interview
I was hesitant to apply to this firm as I read several reviews where the recruiter was rude or unorganized. I figured it'd been enough time; the company would have corrected these issues or the individual responsible. Nope.
Applied online, got a response a few days later to set up a phone screen.
We locked down a time, and the recruiter was supposed to give me a call. No call. Upon following up ten minutes later, all I got was voicemail. I was sent an email maybe half an hour past our appointment looking to set up for another day. I agreed and moved another interview to a different day to accommodate her mistake.
The phone interview comprised of her talking about the company for a length of time and then asking about why I am interested. We talked for about fifteen, maybe twenty minutes.
At the end of the interview, the recruiter said she would give my information to the hiring manager and follow up before the end of next week to let me know if they will move forward. No response. I called a week after her deadline to get an update. Left a voicemail. No Response.
The Interview I moved to accommodate this unprofessional recruiter ended up getting filled before the new set time. I wish I never wasted my time applying here.
As the company recruiter, I appreciate your response and thank you for sharing your experience. I apologize and take full responsibility for incorrectly booking the date of our call and providing an incorrect timeframe. Our company is growing fast and our HR department and hiring managers are very busy! However, missing the mark is not good and never our intention. I hope during our call you had a good experience and learned more about the company and role. Your feedback helps us get better and we will continue to strive to provide professional and excellent service.
