I applied through university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at CoStar Group (Washington, DC) in May 2012
Interview
I was recruited on campus my senior year where I had a half hour interview. Then I was brought to the dc headquarters for a day long interview process which included 2 interviews, lunch, a building tour, and a 'side by side' with a current researcher.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Questions were very generic and most asked you to describe a time or experience in which you dealt with a certain situation or overcoming a challenge. The side by side with a researcher was unexpected an nerve racking for me but it shows you what the job is really like..calling people all day and conducting "research" which is asking questions to people that usually don't want to speak to you
I applied online. I interviewed at CoStar Group (Richmond, VA)
Interview
Extremely lengthy. 4 stages over about 2 months. Panel interview that took 6 hours. One panelist did not show and added another interview stage. Due to length, I found a better offer and declined after finally getting to an offer.

Question 1
I was asked about recruitment processes. Follow the status quo or define a new SOP?
I applied through university. I interviewed at CoStar Group (London, England)
Interview
The interview was very professional and they really need you to know the role and company inside out they want a background on your experience as well and im not sure what else
Basic interview, that lasted one or two instances. Shadowed researcher and made some calls with the interviewer. The whole process was quick and lasted less than a month, average difficulty overall for the process.
