The interview is three stages. The online test, interview over the phone with HR, then finally a virtual interview.
It was my first interview in a while, also my first virtual interview. I didn't have the best preparation to be honest, no excuses, I could have performed much better. Anyway, the interviewer said that I would get a response by the following week.
I did not hear back after a week, I then called the HR lady, she said she'll get back to me. The following week, I receive an email saying that the hiring team have not met and made a decision. In my mind, the longer it takes to receive a response, it is most likely your not successful.
Anyway, a following two weeks had passed, still no response, wtf. So now its been a month, I then emailed the HR lady, as I still thought they may be an ever so slight chance of me securing the role (its the hope that dies last).
In my email, I mention that I have never been an interview process like this, keep candidates waiting for a response for a month, particularly from a firm that generates over $1billion in revenue. This has caused so much anxiety, just waiting for an answer. In my email, I said please provide me an answer, whatever it is, or I consider myself unsuccessful. Finally, a reply, you have not been successful.
I would not apply to this place ever again. Don't leave candidates waiting, it's unprofessional and causes a lot of undue stress.
