I applied for this position through Indeed.com earlier this year. I was asked to come in for an interview a couple weeks later and met with two people, one of which would be my direct report. The interview was casual and more of a get to know you style as opposed to rigorous questions. I was asked to come back for a second interview and when I arrived I was told that the gentleman who would be my direct report forgot about it. I met instead with the other person from the previous interview and another colleague. They were very nice and the interview was again very casual. A day later I received an email saying the direct report was sick, but would be making a decision soon. At this point I had decided I wasn't interested due to a feeling that the company lacked organization and the assumption that straightening out that issue would fall to a great extent on me. Five days later I received another email from the contact person stating that they were very interested in my application, but decided to put hiring for the position on hold for a few weeks until they could get some other positions solidified. She indicated that she would keep me posted and anticipated that it would be the second or third week of September. That was the last communication I received from anyone at the company.
