There was a screener interview during which it was revealed that CMC was seeking to hire someone as a W-2 employee and they would be doing contract work for a client of CMC's, and the point of the screener interview was to decide whether to present one's resume to the client. Was asked about my skills that applied to the role and how much experience I had, but wasn't asked any technical questions. I turned down their offer to represent me to their client because their PTO policy is absymal and they could not provide any pay information since they are not really the ones who are hiring/paying for your work. You only accrue 1 hour of PTO for every 30 hours worked, you cannot use ANY PTO until you have worked for 480 hours (3 months if you're full time), and as if that wasn't bad enough, you have to get approval from 2 different managers before you can use PTO and there are blackout periods where you can't use it at all. 1 hour of PTO per 30 hours worked is less than 9 days of PTO per year.
