      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Code2College in Sept 2021

      Interview

There were three separate stages to the interview. Phone call, written submission, and video call. Each were quite intense asking for scenario-based questions involving ranking and hypotheticals. Although I was dressed professionally for my video interview, the program manager showed up on her couch in a t-shirt, so it felt a bit odd.

      Question 1

Can you rank these 6-7 aspects of a student's engagement based on level of importance?
      Answer question

      I interviewed at Code2College

      Interview

It was very simple and nothing to be nervous about. They had a few questions they asked which were mainly around availability and trying to understand what your work ethic looks like.

      Interview

Some of the questions they ask you during the interview really don't make any sense. They ask you to rank certain things like student GPA, Socio-economic status, class attendance... but don't tell you in what context you're supposed to be ranking them. It's really strange. They also have you analyze some data sent to you in a spreadsheet, but the data also doesn't have much context, so it's practically impossible to draw conclusions from. I'm honestly not sure if they don't realize that data can't be analyzed without certain pieces of information, or if they want you to tell them it can't be analyzed so they know you're not just faking answers.
