      Designer Interview

      10 July 2024
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Seattle, WA
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at CodeAI (Seattle, WA) in May 2024

      Interview

The interview itself was fine. I interviewed with the hiring manager, and it was straightforward. The company seemed wonderful, and I was genuinely excited to continue the process. The manager emphasized that I should reach out if I had other job opportunities, as they were just starting their hiring process. However, I was then completely ghosted. I reached out to inquire about my status but received no response. It was disappointing, to say the least. In a tough job market, it's crucial to be respectful to candidates and take a few minutes to inform them if you’re moving in a different direction or if the role has been put on hold.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Tell me about yourself. Walk me through your experience. Tell me about a project you led where you had a different outcome than expected.

Our goal is to provide timely updates to all candidates throughout the hiring process, and it is clear we did not meet our standards here. We understand how important it is to keep candidates informed, especially in today’s competitive job market, and we deeply regret falling short in this instance. Your feedback has been shared with our team, and we are taking steps to ensure this does not happen again.
