I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Coforge
Interview
Interview was aligned by third party.
1st round - All Java Questions, Programs(cleared first round scheduled on saturday)
2nd Round - Interviewer was really rude. Asked me why I am asking for this much hike, asked database queries, Security testing(as I have not done this in past, nor this was mentioned in JD I said I haven't done this in past), started asking browser compatibility testing questions. Then, he was happy because I don't know much about browser compatibility testing , so he started arguing that automation is costly, we should stick to manual(I tried to answer him but because he was interviewer I tried not to cross the basic line)
In sort, it was pathetic

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Coforge (Bengaluru) in Dec 2024
Interview
I would like to share my experience during the recent interview process at Coforge. While I appreciate the opportunity to interview for the position and understand the importance of a thorough evaluation process, I found certain aspects of the interaction disappointing and lacking professionalism.
Basic Information Gathering: It is standard practice to begin interviews by discussing a candidate's background, including their name, total experience, domain expertise, and proficiency in specific tools and programming languages. However, these fundamental questions were overlooked during my interview.
Irrelevant and Unstructured Questions: Some of the questions asked felt arbitrary and unrelated to the role or my profile. This approach not only lacked focus but also failed to assess my suitability for the position in a meaningful way.
Professional Conduct: An interview is a two-way process where both parties evaluate fitment. Unfortunately, the demeanor of the interviewer made the experience less constructive. A structured and respectful interaction would have been more conducive to effective communication.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Coforge (Pune)
