I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 days. I interviewed at Cognizant (New York, NY) in Sept 2019
Interview
I found the interview process at CTS to be very unprofessional. Firstly, I was told by the HR that it was supposed to be a scheduled interview, upon reaching I discovered that it was a walk-in drive. Secondly, the interviewer seemed to have been forced to interview me and every few minutes he was signalling his colleague that he'll fining the interview in 2 mins and join him for Lunch. This happened multiple times while I was answering his questions. Thirdly, while waiting I observed that few panelists were interviewing multiple candidates at once to speed up the process.
My interview went really well and I was provide correct answers to all questions. When the HR told me that "I could leave for the day", I requested a feedback to which he pointed me to the panelist. I courteously requested feedback from the panelist to which he declined.
The overall recruitment process was pretty sub-par and lacked professionalism at every step.
