Effective interview process that dealt with the ins and outs of the job. Asked tough questions that put my knowledge in Computer Science to the test. Throughout the process there was effective communication from Cognizant.

I did 3 rounds of interview, each of them technical, I managed to get to the client, the client were the only one who noticed that I wasn't a support engineer (I didn't apply to that position either, apparently somebody switched me in the middle of the process)

The interview process included an initial HR screening followed by a technical assessment to test my Java skills. After that, I had one or two rounds of technical interviews focusing on coding, problem-solving, and frameworks like Spring Boot. Finally, there was a managerial round to discuss project experience and team collaboration.

The interviewers are not that consistent, there is a good degree on personal biases based, not all the areas are covered.
