It was a great experience over all everyone is super nice and helping. it has 4-5 rounds of interview. they ask you to choose front end or back end on the second interview which is a phone screen and based on that the rest goes on.
First a take home challenge, then phone screen with recruiter, tech screening with a SE, last round is a 4 hour interview

The first guy who interviewed just kept grilling me so much that I got so flustered and I couldn’t solve the last followup and he insisted that I need to solve all follow ups for me to move to the next round.
On the other hand, the girl in the second round was so nice and welcoming. She asked questions but not in a way to grill me but only to understand my approach.
Overall- due to the first guy I’m not very happy with the interview else the whole process is quite fast and I came to know about the results in one week.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Coinbase (New York, NY) in Jan 2025
Interview
The interview process was very efficient and straightforward, consisting of an initial phone screening with a recruiter followed by two technical interviews conducted by engineers. Both technical assessments featured modified LeetCode questions of medium difficulty, providing a balanced challenge without being overwhelming. The entire process moved along at a good pace and was well-organized from start to finish.

Enjoyed interview process. Everything was super quick!! Made it to the onsite with around 700 on OA Codesignal. Asked me 2 coding questions in the end. I didn’t do well on the second one so it makes sense why I got rejected. (Backend Engineer)
