Collins Consulting interview questions

Due to COVID everything was remote, but I had 2 calls. One with the Recruiting Manager and one with the VP of Business Development. Then I had a Zoom call with both.

A recruiter contacted me through email and we proceeded to talk over the phone about details of the role. I tried to negotiate for pay higher than $25 per hour. He claimed that he would look into it, but then he promptly sent me the contract at $25. Ultimately, I agreed on the contract and the following day I found the same position being offered at another recruiting company for $40 per hour. A second interview is scheduled between me and their client, Abbott - an interview which I now have mixed feelings about.
