Interview process started strong… until it didn’t. The recruiter was friendly but seemed a bit disorganized, I followed up to keep things moving and let it slide. I made it to the next round and then of course ( unsurprisingly at this point) got completely ghosted. Being busy is understandable — disappearing on candidates isn’t. A simple update goes a long way, if you had time to schedule the interview, I think a simple update of any sort (i.e. "hey sorry we are really busy and we should have an update for you shortly" or "hey, sorry we decided to go with someone who has more relevant experience, thank you for your time"
We put a lot of time and effort into preparing for these interviews, a little mutual respect goes a long way.
