Columbia University interview questions

Four rounds HR screening zoom, meet the team zoom, then asked to prepare a presentation to present on zoom a third time, then asked to come in person to present to 2 hiring committees and individual interviews with the team hiring. I spent almost 5 hours there. Asked me during round 2 if I was interested in a position HR initially said had already been finalized. The position I was applying for was not crystal clear. HR sent a generic rejection email.

Very general questions, clearly had not read or looked at resume at all despite me having traveled for an in person interview. No hard questions but seemed like a very disorganized organization. The department was nice enough but seemed to have many underlying administrative issues.
