I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Comcast
Interview
you apply online, a recruiter first contacts you by telephone to screen out people that would not fit the environment. you are told that you get 29k base, if you meet your sales goals you will make 80k per year total. You get a list of 600 addresses every month and must do cold door knocks within territory to make sales.
After this they proceed to ask basic questions about how you overcame objections in sales environment, just the typical type generic questions. Nothing different or that strange.
Then they schedule an interview with two different supervisors and I didn't find anything about the specific questions asked to be unusual. I would say that it is your overall demeanor and enthusiasm and evidence of drive for excelling that is what is really being evaluated at this point. Your ability to build rapport very quickly with strangers, because if you got to this point you are obviously already qualified on paper, but you need to have a good outgoing personality and be able to overcome challenges.

I applied online on a Saturday and was contacted by the recruiter Monday morning. I had a short over the phone interview with him and took an assessment test. I was told I passed and was set up for a interview with the local supervisor the following week. That went well and I was set up for a interview with the regional manager the next week. I recived my first offer letter two weeks later.Next I had a drug screening and background check which took another week. I passed both and received my final offer letter. I then waited 2 months for training to start. Total time for application to training was 3 months.
