I applied online. I interviewed at Comcast (Denver, CO) in Oct 2020
Interview
Terrible experience with Comcast and this is the second time. In 2017, I interviewed with Comcast. I went through all the interviews for a month and the HR called me two months later to extend an offer. Two days after that, the representative called me informing that they cannot sponsor H-1b for this position. Three years later, I applied for a position in September 2020. I clearly asked the recruiter if this position can sponsor H-1b and she said "Yes, absolutely we can sponsor". Once again, I cleared all rounds of interview and the recruiter was about to extend an offer. And guess what, I just got a call from the recruiter this morning and she said, "Unfortunately we do not have the budget to sponsor".
If they cannot sponsor, why would they waste the interviewers and the candidates time. The budget should be discussed before opening the position itself. I can't understand how their hiring process works. It is extremely frustrating.
If you need sponsorship, I strongly suggest DO NOT apply at Comcast and waste your time.
