I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Comcast in Mar 2008
Interview
The hiring process was lenghty. Excluding the staffing agency (which was a series of tests done in one day) the Comcast interview began on the 1st week with the manager. It was basic, only going over my submitted resume. The second interview was more indepth. There were general questions asked about my experiences and the career change. The Third interview was with the Call Center Manager it was brief and somewhat casual. A word of advice do not procrastinate when scheduled for the drug test. You will get a call from the hiring manager theatening to void your application if not completed.

Question 1
Describe a time when you had a difficult customer. What did you say or do to make the call a positive experience for the customer?
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Comcast (Philadelphia, PA) in Feb 2026
Interview
I am currently internal so I applied online. Had a 15 minute screening call with the recruiter asking basic questions. First interview was with hiring manager. Very conversational with a couple "formal" questions. Second interview with the sales team. More difficult trying to drill down to how I work and why I should be chosen.
Very professional, interviewer was polite, thorough, timely, asked relevant questions. I was made to feel comfortable and I would describe it as a pleasant experience. I would recommend applying for positions with this company

Question 1
How do you handle difficult/challenging conversations
There was an assessment followed by a phone interview with a recruiter then a virtual panel interview with a senior manager and two supervisors. The phone interview was no more than 20 mins and the panel interview was 45mins. I received an offer after a week.
