      Engineering Interview

      24 Apr 2015
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Livermore, CA
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Comcast (Livermore, CA) in Mar 2015

      Interview

I interviewed at Livermore , CA location. Had 3 rounds of interviews 2 phone screens , 1 on site interview, pretty easy and basic behavioral questions all through the process. It has been 1 month since I gave the on site interview and no result, everytime I call them and ask about the status , they say they dont't know and it is up to the hiring manager to decide. Surprisingly the Hiring manager had told me that he would let me know the result within 2 weeks and that did not happen. I don't know whats on their mind , very bad experience for me personally.

      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Comcast

      Interview

From the first phone interview to the offer letter was over 3 months. The Internal recruiter was fresh off the boat and wasn't sure about the hiring process at all. He was hard to understand, broken English and spoke too soft to be heard.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

I was a rehire back. The question was: Why do you want to return to Comcast. I answered that I stepped away to advance my career in a direction I thought would be beneficial and I see this step has given knowledge, maturity, professionalism that I can now advance within Comcast and not only help grow my career, but the company as well.
