Interview
The interview process was extremely long and thorough. I met 17 people over about 5 months before getting an offer. On top of that I also completed a case study. Everyone was extremely friendly throughout the process.

Question 1
I was asked about my educational background, strengths and weaknesses and experience dealing with stress in prior jobs.
Asked basic behavioral questions and some basic questions testing knowledge of what the role was and what Commonfund does. Went through 4 interviews and never heard back even after continual follow up. Least they could do was tell me I didn't get it.
Not bad. Mostly behavioral questions. Looking for solid rigor in transcript, an interest in learning and team abilities. Ask questions about their day to day jobs. Also follow up about what deals they’re currently working on.
Phone interview first round with Analyst, second round with Associate, third round with Directors. Generally average difficulty. They care a lot about fit with their culture, aside from that very standard.
