I applied through other source. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Community Autism Services (Los Angeles, CA) in July 2020
Interview
I first got two phone calls regarding my application and my resume. Then did a video interview that lasted about 40 mins. I'm currently awaiting for a decision from the clinical manager but am hopeful I am hired.
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
How long have you worked with children with special needs?
If you were working with a 3-year-old who was swearing and their parents told that child that they do not understand why they're swearing, what do you think would be the reason for this behavior?

Interview
After applying, you get a phone call with a recruiter to do a phone screening and go over the job, benefits and some responsibilities you may have, etc. Afterwards, if you meet the expectations they pass on your information to the clinical team. If qualified, are supposed to set up a tour of the center, and have an in-person interview. However, each time I have applied for the position (I am definitely qualified for it) I get to the part where I am supposed to schedule a center tour and they ghost me. This has happened 3 times already with this company for different locations!!! I have left messages with the recruiter with no response about setting up the tour/in-person interview. If they seem very disorganized and have a lack of communication this early on, then I can't imagine actually working for this company.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They ask about your experience with working with children, specifically with special-education and autism cases. Go over your resume, talk availability, etc.
We’re truly sorry to hear about your repeated experience and lack of follow-up. This is not the standard we strive for, and we appreciate you bringing it to our attention. We’re actively working on improving communication throughout our hiring process and will use this feedback to make necessary changes. Thank you for your interest in Community Autism Services.

Interview
Interview was professional and easy going. If you have a passion to work with children you will do fine. Very nice office and welcoming environment. FYI: You may be asked to perform a scenario of working 1:1 with a small child however it was very brief. Nothing to be nervous about.
