I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Community Vision, Capital and Consulting (San Francisco, CA) in Nov 2020
Interview
This was literally the most drawn out and redundant interview process I've ever experienced, and I've interviewed for post-MBA positions at large consulting firms and management trainee programs at Fortune 100 companies. Over a two month period, I participated in no less than four phone and Zoom interviews with between two and five staff members, along with a few phone calls with the hiring manager.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
TBH, the questions were redundant and the interviewers were so poorly prepared that I can't recall them.
I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Community Vision, Capital and Consulting (San Francisco, CA) in July 2008
Interview
My interactions with NCCLF staff was for the most part courteous, timely and professional.
My compliant -- and I think it's a pretty major issue -- is that they took the initative of calling what-was-then my current employer for a reference. I hadn't yet provided formal professional references, nor had they asked for any at that stage of the interview process -- and if I were to have provided refererences it would most definitely NOT been for my current work (and I think that's standard practice during a job search, isn't it?). NCCLF didn't even bother to tell me they were calling my current employer; I found out about it because my boss at that time told me they called. Needless to say, that was an awkward conversation.
