I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Compa Technologies (Vancouver, WA) in Sept 2025
Interview
We discussed the company, who exactly it is looking for, discussed my competencies and expectations from the position. This is a startup, so they approach the selection of candidates very carefully, so there were several questions about what exactly I am looking for and what motivates me.
There are four total interviews, including two technical interviews, one white boarding interview, and one behavioral interview with the CEO. They are quite responsive and will sent the next email with the link to schedule the next meeting.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Compa Technologies in Mar 2025
Interview
Initial screen with a very young team lead / hiring manager. Scheduled 2 "leetcode style interviews" plus a systems design interview. Rejected. Scheduling 3 interviews at once then canceling the latter ones when rejecting the candidate seems disorganized and to demonstrate a lack thought and foresight. Believing that 2 "leetcode style interviews" is a good way to evaluate candidates is a red flag for the company.
