First call with the recruiter who outlined the scope of the role. Next interview (of 4-5 total described to me) was 30 minutes with someone in the role. Interviewer spent 25 minutes of this call asking most of the same questions the recruiter did (describe your leadership style, etc). At the end, I was asked what questions I had and then cut short when the interviewer "had to run to another meeting". Two days later I got an email from the recruiter stating they didn't want to move forward due to lack of leadership experience which came as a surprise considering my last 4 roles (over 10+ years) have been in leadership.
In setting up the 2nd interview I was given the guidance to learn everything I can about Compass and to have more questions. With that, and considering the time put into the prep, I would have appreciated the time to ask said questions.
