Interview was standard. The interviewer was mainly looking for your ability to peak clearly and explain procedures to patients.
However, you will be lowballed beyond belief.
They asked me to work for 2 weeks at $9 per hour before bumping my rate to the very low end of RPSGT salary. They offer $17 per hour when the going rate for a registered tech (for the area) is $23-27.
They will not budge on that price. Based on the turnover rate they have, I'm sure it's due to their inability to pay a respectable wage.
They hire by contract so they don't have to pay overtime.
Overall, I have come to the understanding that they don't really care about an employee relationship. They would rather save a few bucks and see you leave in 6 months rather than keep you for years and pay you well.
