What is your experience that makes you a good candidate for this role?
I applied online. I interviewed at Constructive Partnerships Unlimited (Brooklyn, NY) in June 2025
Interview
I applied for the position during the second week of June and was contacted the same week to schedule an interview for the following week. It was a group interview conducted by the Program Director and the Vice President. After the interview, they informed us that they would get back to us by the end of the day. Later that day, the Program Director called to offer me the position, and I verbally accepted the offer.

Question 1
What are the most three important things that needs to be on Client Case Plan?
I interviewed at Constructive Partnerships Unlimited
Interview
I recently interviewed for a position at CPU and had an extremely disappointing experience. From the start, the hiring manager seemed disinterested and dismissive. Rather than asking me questions about my background, skills, or how I could contribute to the role, the entire interview was spent with the hiring manager repeatedly stating that I was "overqualified" for the position. It was confusing and frustrating because they had my resume well in advance—why invite me for an interview if it was clear from the beginning that I wasn't a fit?
What made it even more uncomfortable was that the second interviewer was completely silent throughout the process, offering no questions or engagement. I left the interview feeling like my time had been wasted, and the interaction left me with a poor impression of the company’s professionalism and respect for candidates.
If a company believes a candidate is overqualified, they should either not move forward with the interview or at least make the conversation meaningful. I expected a discussion about my experience and how it might align with the role, but instead, I was met with a dismissive attitude. Overall, the experience was unproductive and felt unprofessional.
