      Senior Technical Recruiter Interview

      12 Aug 2016
      Anonymous employee
      Minneapolis, MN
      Accepted offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through other source. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Consultis (Minneapolis, MN) in July 2016

      Interview

Met with the hiring manager 1 on 1 for coffee, had a great conversation and the requirements were in line with my career goals and my diverse experience matched well with what they needed & wanted. We were both eager to move forward. The following week, after narrowing my search, I expressed my commitment to move forward. At the end of the 3rd week that manager gave me the best verbal offer they could give and we were in negotiations. The day I was supposed to go to the office to meet with the team, as the final step, I received an email announcing they were not moving forward because it wasn't a fit. Suggestion for the company: know what you want, follow-through with what you say you will do, communicate better, be transparent, don't talk #'s until all the interviews are complete and CALL the candidate for closure, especially during final stages. Suggestion to future applicants: Be VERY cautious when interviewing with this firm!

After researching, an offer was not made, money was discussed. We were still in the process of vetting other candidates. One of those candidates was selected for the job. We wish you well in your future endeavors.
