Consulum Director interview questions

This was a multi-round interview process. The people doing the interviews ranged from engaging to bored/disinterested. The worst part of the process was a 48 hour task requiring a draft communications strategy to be written for a junior Saudi minister. This is a big ask and time commitment, from which major value can be obtained. It's clearly par for the course in the UAE given other processes I've been through, but what stood out here was that subsequent rounds did not refer back to the task at all. Answers on workplace culture and development were also weak, tending towards the implication that 'if people don't like working here, or don't do well, it's their fault'.
