I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Contentsquare
Interview
Was referred by employee in August 2021. There were 4 rounds of online interviews, and multiple calls with the recruiter. A technical assessment based on JavaScript I think before the second round. To be honest, the recruiter was good with communication, however, he was overly optimistic, and looking back, probably not very honest at all.
Basically, I made it to the final round, and in the recruiter's words, an offer was forthcoming. Then, literally a month of silence. I emailed and called, and then eventually I got a hold of him and he said they went with someone else because they decided they needed someone based in Central Time, when the role I interviewed for was supposed to be based in EST. Which, as a remote worker, I WAS willing to do, if indeed that were the reason I was rejected (I'm not sure it was, as companies will lie because they're more worried about covering their behinds than telling the truth). And then he had the nerve to play victim and blame his ghosting on the company, instead of telling me himself I didn't get the role.
Nobody should ever have to hunt down a company after a final interview to get an offer or rejection, let alone when they get your hopes up and tell you you got the job. Your company wasted my time, time I could have spent interviewing with and talking to employers who know how to treat people with dignity. You behaved unprofessionally and disrespected me, and I do not appreciate it. Your company has a long way to go before I'd bother applying again, or recommending them to anyone.
Thank you for your review, and we are sorry to hear you did not have a positive experience. We agree that every candidate deserves to have an honest and timely experience when they interview with us, and we will take the necessary steps to follow-up with the recruiter for this role to ensure this does not happen again.
Other Implementation Manager interview reviews for Contentsquare
I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Contentsquare (Cairo, Cairo Governorate) in June 2024
Interview
The whole process was on zoom. Started with 1 call with the HR partner, then 2 calls with the reporting line in Paris and Amsterdam, 1 live technical test call, 1 call with Cairo location leadership, and 1 call with MENA region leadership (final step in the interview)
I received 2 other calls with the HR partner, 1 progress call in the middle of the process, and 1 call to communicate the reasons of rejection.
Overall the process was very long but the HR was very supportive providing constant feedback as well as the direct reporting line manager.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The standard "what's your weakness?" question was asked 3 times in the 6 calls
Thank you for leaving a review. We're glad to read that the recruiter was supportive and provided regular feedback. Each interview should be unique and evaluate a different aspect needed for the role. We will circle back with the team to ensure the same question is not asked across 3 different interviews.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Contentsquare (Salt Lake City, UT) in Feb 2022
Interview
One of the best processes that I've been through. They were clear, direct and kind. Transparency was key in the process for me and what I look for in a company and they definitely displayed that. I ultimately didn't take the position because my current employer counteroffered really well. I'm really grateful to have had the experience though!
