My experience interviewing with Contentstack was frustrating due to repeated issues with communication and coordination.
The process began with an initial interview being scheduled. The interviewer did not attend, and there was no prior notice of cancellation. I followed up to check if the meeting was still taking place and did not receive a response until the following day.
The interview was then rescheduled. However, approximately 30 minutes before the new meeting time, I was informed that it would be cancelled again due to the interviewer being unavailable.
What stood out most was the response when I raised this. Rather than acknowledging the inconvenience or taking accountability, the reply was dismissive, along the lines of “these things do happen.” Combined with repeated last-minute cancellations, this reflects poorly on how candidates’ time is valued.
Unexpected issues can arise, but a pattern of poor communication and lack of ownership should not be the standard.
I chose not to continue with the process.
Advice to management:
Improve internal coordination and ensure timely, proactive communication with candidates. When issues occur, acknowledge them properly and take accountability.

Interview
I applied online via their website, and a recruiter responded and scheduled an interview. The time she selected was not one of the times I initially wanted but decided to accomdate. She did not show up for the interview. Shocking. I wasted 15 mins of my time and she did not show up or email to say she would not be able to or that she would be running late.
