recently interviewed for a Senior Android Engineer role and found the experience disappointing from a candidate perspective.
The interview began directly with coding questions without much introduction or discussion. I was asked to solve two medium-level DSA problems, which I completed with optimal approaches and discussed their time and space complexities.
However, the interaction felt abrupt, and the interview concluded very quickly with limited feedback or technical discussion. When I asked for clarification, I was told my DSA skills did not meet expectations, despite having solved the problems successfully.
I believe interviews are not only about evaluation but also about maintaining professional and respectful communication with candidates. Unfortunately, this experience did not leave a positive impression.
