I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Core-Mark (Tampa, FL) in June 2012
Interview
Whse mgr was late to the interview and then had to leave twice to get paperwork. Nervous and shady. Boastful and barely let me say anything. Everything was about him and the CoreMark way.
I applied online. I interviewed at Core-Mark (Atlanta, GA)
Interview
Standard interview process. Apply on line, afterwards there is a short assessment followed by an online test. Then if you pass they contact you for a interview. Very straightforward and the interview is very standard
I applied online. I interviewed at Core-Mark (West Sacramento, CA) in Mar 2019
Interview
1st phone screening with HR which was very long followed by on site interview with general manager for 20 minutes. I was told to wait for a few minutes and was followed up with HR to schedule for a one on one with the director of operations the next week with an assessment test. Was told i would hear back by mid next week ending up being 26 days later by email that i was not hired even with a few replies to HR not being answered. No common courtesy of status of interview is terrible as i was in 2nd interviews at other places at the time. On another note i encountered a few employees outside in the parking lot who seemed very miserable about work as they were leaving so this may have been for the best.
