      Life Skills Coordinator Interview

      9 Mar 2020
      Anonymous employee
      Fort Worth, TX
      Accepted offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at CoreCivic (Fort Worth, TX) in June 2017

      Interview

Finding the entrance to the facility is difficult because it is used to be a hotel that was converted into a halfway house for parolees. The staff is not very welcoming and the facility itself can be intimidating. The interview is the HR specialist and the manager over the department you'd be working in. The interview was short then they sent me to get fingerprints taken for the TDCJ clearance. Once that was done, they reimbursed me for the prints and said I'd get the position as long as my background cleared and drug test was done. They give you the paperwork for the drug screen and you have 72 hrs to get it done.
