I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at CoreVest (Irvine, CA)
Interview
Spoke with the talent acquisition employee on a Teams call and went through the basics: my background, company background, role responsibilities, etc. I then had a call with my would-be hiring manager, which was a great interview and quite conversational, even running over our allotted time slot by 15 minutes. At the end of the call, they stated verbatim "well, this has been a phenomenal conversation and I'll definitely be recommending you to progress in the process." Weeks went by without any communication from the talent acquisition employee only to receive a rejection email for the position. When I inquired about the email with talent acquisition, they stated that the next person I would've been interviewing with took a look at my resume and decided not to proceed with the interview process.
I've rated my experience as neutral only due to the great conversation I had with the hiring manager who was very knowledgeable in CRE and seemed like they would be excellent to work with.
