I applied online. I interviewed at Corelight in May 2026
Interview
The HR was really nice and friendly, and the questions were pretty simple. The technical interview was also not very difficult. I just didnât fully understand a few questions at first, which made me a bit nervous later on, so my answers got kind of messy.

Interview
Recruiter reached out to me directly. We scheduled a screening call and I was told mid-call that the role had already been filled. The recruiter then asked me to share other positions I was interested in and suggested we stay in touch. I followed up as requested and was never contacted again. One call, zero transparency, and no respect for the candidate's time despite the fact that they initiated the entire interaction.
The recruiter messaged me via LinkedIn. I then had a recruiter screening call. I then applied for the role. Over the next few weeks, I had 30-45 minute conversations with the hiring manager, two peers, a regional sales leader, channel leader, and the CMO. All conversations were conducted through Zoom.
