Interview
I had a very lengthy phone interview, waited 2 weeks, then had a 4 hour in-person interview. After several weeks I received an email with a request for a phone call. I was very excited to hear from them after interviewing for multiple positions over the past year. The called to say that I was not chosen, but was their second choice. It was very disappointing and I wish they would not have strung my along like they did. I would not recommend interviewing at Corteva unless you are very well qualified as they will interview many people for a role and communicate very little after taking up nearly a full day of your time for an entry level position.

They had a list of very standard interview questions, which they repeated over and over due to the fact that I had over a dozen different interviewers

The interview process was described to me as at least two interviews. The first interview was virtual/remote with the team lead and the team member who I was replacing due to his getting a promotion, but no one from HR.

How many base pairs do you typically design the overlapping ends in a Gibson assembly?
Very long and drawn out process for an entry level job. Interviewer implied that I had secured the position then told me they had gone with someone else. Very frustrating and I believe they should have had someone in HR handle the process. It would have been more professional.

Laid back and efficient with great conversation about job role and goals of the company. Met with most of the team and got a tour of the facility. Had an answer back in less than two weeks
