I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Costco Wholesale (Southlake, TX) in Oct 2014
Interview
Submit application online. Wait, wait and wait longer. Receive a phone call that is likely actually them feeling you out, make an appointment for an interview. Interview happens in the food court. Standard questions for an interview. They tell you nearly nothing but they might get back with you. Wait for another interview. Get a call for a second interview. Schedule a time for second interview. Second interview will be with somebody higher up in the warehouse. If it goes well, they will give you some paperwork and have you do a drug test. After that, you wait, they will call you back if your background check and saliva drug test cleared.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Costco Wholesale in May 2026
Interview
Three rounds of interviews. If you're lucky, you'll do two rounds because two managers in the room are two interviews. Then the final interview is with the warehouse manager. Be on time; I cannot stress that enough, as Costco is a very time-sensitive type of position. You only have a three-minute grace period to clock in at your normal hours. Emphasize that you are very prompt and are ready to work through the probation period.
