I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Costco Wholesale (Lake in the Hills, IL) in May 2013
Interview
Very informal, in the open office area, with the department manager, and an Assistant GM. The interview took about 30 minutes in length. It was with the department manager and the Assistant General Manager of the warehouse that I was applying to in order to get the job and work there.

Question 1
Tell me about a time you had a negative experience and how did you handle it.
The interview was, to say the least, quite an experience. There were three interviewers, each seemingly unprepared—one hastily flipped through a list of questions, another arrived late, and only the last one appeared genuinely engaged. While I understand this is an entry-level position, it speaks volumes about a company when they don’t take the time to review a resume or properly prepare for an interview.

I kindly let them know that I had somewhere to be and they ended up not hiring me. To add more context. My interview was scheduled for 2:00pm. My interview did not start until 2:45pm and I had work at 3pm.
