I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Country Home Learning Center (Leon Valley, TX) in Dec 2013
Interview
The hiring process began after I turned in an application on Country Home's website. About two weeks later I was called by Country Home's office staff for an interview for a position as a teacher. The employee who called was nice, efficient, and direct.
The interview was with the Assistant Director who was very friendly and bubbly. I was hired after answering one question about how to handle biters and, although I have a lot of experience with biters and gave a very detailed answer to the question, I still thought it was a little strange to be hired after one question.
At the time of the initial interview, I was asked to come back a few days later for a to speak with the director about pay, any questions I had, and begin orientation.
After Orientation, background checks, and FBI fingerprinting I began to test out positions in classrooms.
