I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at County of Madera (California) (Madera, CA) in June 2022
Interview
The interviews were all done via Cisco Webex, a web conferencing program. All three interviews were done virtual and are recorded.
The first interview was simple. You were interviewed by two people who asked you what your skills and accomplishments are and what models of network equipment you have supported. You are graded from a scale 0-100%. After the interview you are given your score and eligibility rank. You will then be given an appointment for the second interview.
Second interview is given by the Senior Network Analyst and Network Security Engineer. They had about 18 questions with 80% of them being pure HR/Behavioral questions. ( I will list the ones I remember later).
Third and final interview was given by the same people from the second interview. More or less the same amount of questions but they asked me more about certifications. You may have an edge if you have a CCNA which was something they asked me repeatedly.
After the interview I was given a "Thank you for your time" rejection email a week later.

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at County of Madera (California) (Madera, CA) in June 2018
Interview
A group interview in which I received questions and provided answers to three people who represent the County. They were flexible even though I arrived to the interview late. They were considerate of what I had to say.
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
How will you deal with biases you may have toward others?
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at County of Madera (California) (Madera, CA) in Sept 2016
Interview
It was extremely long process, I went through a background check that only contributed to letting me go in my current position regardless of me having a clean criminal record. They judge you on past mistakes that you brought up even if you don't have a record
