Covington & Burling interview questions

Nice overall experience but lots of waiting around. Lunch then group exercise, case study and interview with two partners. Case study was unlike any I had done before - it is essentially an essay question. Group exercise was okay but with around 6 other people it is difficult to contribute and you had to push your pov a bit. Interview was fine, partners are nice. Lots of hypothetic and situational questions. They pick questions from a set list and the whole AC is assessed on a numerical scale and you are given a score at the end. They don't reimburse your travel.

The Interview consisted of various competency based questions but formed more of a conversational tone, where future questions were sculpted around your answers as you give them. They ask a significant number of situational questions. I did not receive an offer overall, but scored very highly in the interview section.
