The interview consists of 4 rounds and the entire process took 3 weeks. 1. Phone Screening with the recruiter 2. Interview with the hiring manager 3. Interview with the team 4. Interview with the director I applied online and received a call from the recruiter. The recruiter told me that visa sponsorship is not available for this role but you can work on OPT since I am an international student. Later I interviewed with the hiring manager and the team. After 3 weeks, I received an email from the recruiter that they have decided to move forward with someone else for this role and when I asked for the feedback, the recruiter told me that they are hiring US citizens and GC holders only. I was so disappointed as I was really looking forward to working on this opportunity and I wasted 3 weeks of mine preparing for the interview and expecting to hear back from them. They should plan everything well and then open up a position instead of changing the hiring requirements midway in the process. They should respect candidates time and efforts.
