I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Cracker Barrel (Jacksonville, FL) in June 2015
Interview
Brought my resume, filled out my application in store, then waited for a manager to be free to see me. He took me to the third dining room (empty) and asked me a couple questions, then I met with the woman in charge of training/new recruits to get ready for orientation.
Quick conversation about my experience - I had none. Ended abruptly when the manager needed to return to the kitchen. I got a call roughly two weeks later. I would not work there again.

Interview
Very nice manager who interviewed me and he asked questions that were reasonable for the position I was trying to obtain. I did not end up working at that establishment, but it left a good taste in my mouth.
