I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Cracker Barrel (Douglasville, GA) in June 2009
Interview
First interview was with a regional recruiter. Had a phone interview that led to an in-person interview. Took the standard test. Second interview was with potential District Manager. Very in-depth. Took over an hour. Nearly zero "theory questions". All questions dealt with actual experiences that have taken place in my time in the industry.

Question 1
Simply the fact that all the questions dealt very specifically with what has taken place and how I reacted or was proactive. Did not care what would you do, but rather what you did. No room for BS
I applied online. I interviewed at Cracker Barrel (Spring Hill, FL) in Nov 2019
Interview
Very thorough interview. The initial interview was a phone interview with the recruiter. The second interview was with the district manager. It was a 2 hour interview ending with a tour of the restaurant. The 3rd and final interview was with the GM of the location in need. It was a great experience. They were very specific with their expectations and needs. Overall very please.

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Cracker Barrel (Knoxville, TN) in May 2019

Very casual and was offered breakfast. I was interviewed by the GM and the District Manager. The interview lasted about one hour. I was offered the job that day and accepted the offer. I started training within 2 weeks and finished training in 2 months. The training was very typical and was what I made of it.
I applied online. I interviewed at Cracker Barrel (Perrysburg, OH) in Nov 2016
Interview
Applied online. I am an internal promotion so the process is slightly different than an external hire. I was interviewed through Montage/webcam. Then they send an assessment test to determine your leadership style. Timed test. If you are willing to relocate you can go to home office training immediately. Otherwise you wait for an open position in your area. When they have a need for you they send you to home office for training.
