      Account Manager Interview

      Interview

I want to preface this review with first stating that I believe CrowdStrike is a really good company with a great product and a lot of talented individuals which is what led me to apply here. In beginning the interview process, my initial thoughts were that the office seemed nice and was in a good location. I also enjoyed getting to know members of the team who all appeared smart and hard working. However, as the interview process unfolded it quickly became apparent how disorganized it is. A few examples, the recruiters and hiring manager would give different dates for scheduling the next interview, the messaging on what to expect and what to prepare for differed between the aforementioned parties, subsequent interviews were held after the "final" interview, and the process took over 2 months with 1+ month entirely waiting on a final decision. In the end, I was not chosen as I did not have enough expertise in a specific area. Not once was this area brought up in the multiple interviews I went through. I would have expected this to at least be brought up as a concern or hesitation in the interview held after my final interview so that it could be addressed. Overall, I was disappointed not to get the role but given the disjointed process, I was hesitant that it would have been a good move for me.

      Interview

The process was straight forward. I did feel I had to many Interviews. I spoke with over 7 people and they still did not offer me the position. I felt they asked for a little to much and it was difficult to grasp.

Had to do a 30 minute presentation, and I think they asked a little too much. I think they are a great company, but their hiring process is not the best in my opinion.

Multiple stage interview. Starts with recruiter, and then filters through a lower-tier manager. Eventually you end up with the direct report manager. The questions asked were all standard. Final interview is a sales presentation using a test scenario. You are given a packet of information, and a series of expectations, and you are tasked with making a pitch to your interviewers.
